Infant and Toddler Cirriculum
Infants - ages 6 weeks - 1 year
Toddlers - ages 1 - 2 years

At The Olde City Day School, our Infant/Toddler curriculum is based on current research in early brain development, early childhood education and developmental phychology. Through careful observation we can assure that individual developmental needs are being met.
The children are involved with a specific teachers and can enjoy a variety of activities in their company. We make sure that we maintain program flexibility because these early years mean rapidly changing needs as each child grows through many stages of development.
Our curriculum addresses all areas of development. We do this by carefully planning and coordinating five areas:

• EQ (emotional intelligence)
• Language Arts
• Early Logic and Exploration
• Gym and Music
• Creative Expression

To learn more about these areas, please come in and visit us, or request an information packet.
Our Daily Schedule affords specific time every morning and every afternoon for a teacher-directed lesson in each of these five curriculum areas. The classrooms are carefully prepared so that all children can also explore safely and experience self-directed activities. (AM & PM activities are different for full day children)
